David De Gea set to sign a new contract with Manchester United

Manchester United and Jorge Mendes have re-opened contract talk for David De Gea.

The much talked about transfer of David De Gea seems to be coming to a conclusion, after the collapsed deal with Real Madrid. The Spaniard present deal with United will expire in 2016.

De Gea is willing to slam the door shut on a Real Madrid by signing a lucrative contract at United which will see him eaning a whooping £200,000 per week.  

Louis Van Gaal has ended De Gea’s first-team exile as the Dutchman is ready to start on Saturday against arch-rivals Liverpool.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has seemingly given up on De Gea and in a statement released earlier acknowledged that De Gea will sign a new deal which will keep him at Old Trafford.
