Angel Di Maria closing Manchester United exit

Manchester United in last few days have completed signing of Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneidelin and a certain Bastian Schweinsteiger. Manchester United fans are ecstatic and rightly so, but amidst all this there are increasing reports from France that a deal of Angel di Maria to Paris is in final stage of completion.

Angel Di Maria was bought last summer from Real Madrid for a British record £59.7million. While his career started as a Manchester United started well, including that scrumptious chip against Leicester,  The Argentine did not live up to his price tag, he struggled for most part of the season was eventually benched by inform Ashley Young.

Paris Saint Germain wants to take advantage to this situation and try to lure the unsettled star. Manchester United hierarchy does not consider him as indispensable member of the squad.

Angel Di Maria has not traveled with the squad for their U.S Tour. Him, and Marcos Rojo, have been allowed to take holidays because they were tied with National Duties playing Copa America. Angel Di Maria also suffered an Injury in Copa Finals, which means he will not be fit enough to play against Tottenham Hotspur on 8th August; That is of course if Manchester United keep him.

Reports have also emerged that Manchester United are only willing to part ways with Di Maria if PSG include Uruguayan Edison Cavani in the deal. Manchester United are currently short on strikers with sale Robin Van Persie and not extending Radamel Falcao’s stay at Old Trafford. Currently Van Gaal has three options for ST role - Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and James Wilson, with Van Gaal not a fan of Hernandez and Wilson not yet ready to play in PL, a striker would be welcome addition to the squad.

Angel Di Maria has stated in the past that he would like to make an impression in England, but the deal does not rest on his hand. It would be interesting to see if Manchester United sell him or not, and if they do, how will they cope with a squad with without a World Class Wide Forward, with all due respect to Ashley Young and Memphis Depay, they are not on the same level as the Argentine.
