Hello everyone, so moving forward in the Midfield.
Isco, the next big thing in Spain. He is a gem, he even got the best Under-21 player in the world award, when he was at Malaga FC. Even before getting the award he got the attention, but didn't get as much as he deserved. At the end of 2012-13 season, Malaga coach, Manuel Pellegrini left Malaga when he got an offer from cash rich Premier League club, Manchester City. He wanted Isco to join him at Manchester City, Isco was also pursuing him until at the very last moment Real Madrid showed interest in him. Real Madrid wanted him at any cost, and as they say " When Real Madrid comes calling, you can't say no ". Florentino Perez sent his Galectico Zinedine Zidane to convince Isco to sign for Real Madrid and not for Manchester City. Isco quoted " I almost signed for Manchester City, but Zidane came and convinced me to join Real Madrid. He is a worldclass attacking midfielder, who can track back and score. His dribbling is second to none. Rafa has said, he is in his plans and important player to him.
Next up is Casemiro, He played for Real Madrid first team for an year in Carlo's first season at helm, after that he was sold to Porto to develop with a buyback clause. He spent an year at Porto, where he was a starter. As soon as Rafa took the charge, he brought Casemiro back. Rafa has clearly said that Casemiro will be the first substitute for Kroos.
Asier Illiaramendi, he's another player who'll be hoping to make an impact, he is low on confidence after sitting on bench for two seasons. There are rumors that illara might be sold too.
Lucas Vazquez, is a Real Madrid Castilla graduate, he joined RCD Espanyol last year. Real Madrid are inserting buyback clause on almost all of their graduates who are being sold. Same happened with Vazquez too, he is a right winger, who is very good defensively, he tracks back and is a workhorse. Rafa wants him to be the substitute of James on the Right wing.
So if Rafa goes with 4-2-3-1 formation then, Kroos-Modric pair will be starting, although I'm doubtful this pair will be successful in the double pivot. Casemiro, Illiara and Isco to be the substitute depending upon the situation.
If Rafa goes with 4-3-3, then, it will be Kroos Modric and James in the Midfield. Isco, Illiara, Casemiro and Vazquez to be the substitute respectively for them.
Stay tuned for the Forwards details.
