Premier League Top Teams Prediction - Part II

In my Previous Article  I've discussed about the top two positions in The English Premier League. let's move on to the third position now.

Arsenal: In the second half of last season Arsenal found their groove and were playing some fantastic football. Last season they also got results against Big teams away from home as well. When inform they are quite simply the best team to watch in the Land. Arsene Wenger registered his first win over his rival Jose Mourinho, this will not only boost his confidence but also his player's. But it’s when they are not in-form; unlike Chelsea they can’t get result without performing. That is vital in winning the league. They also lack squad depth. Arsenal fans will be hoping Wenger gets more players in, because with this bunch they will not win the league.

Weakness: They will be considered as title contender if it was not for their bench strength. Where they will finish: 3rd. Unless they get a big player in, I don’t see them piping Manchester United for 2nd spot.

Manchester City: Last season they really struggled with Injuries and horrible defending. The pre season for them could not have gone any worse, their new signing: Fabian Deplh, was injured on his debut. They also got a beating from a full strength Madrid side. While their attack is now more lethal with addition of Raheem Sterling, their midfield and defense still needs a major overhaul. Pep Guardiola’s contract at Munich will be over after this season, and if Pellegrini wants to stay he has to ensure he lands the Premier League trophy.

Weakness: Kompany from being considered as one of the best center back in the world has become an average defender. Mangala couldn't prove his worth either last season after being signed for 32 million pounds. They need a replacement for Yaya Toure too in the midfield. So aging midfield and defense is the problem

Where they will finish: 4th. This may stir up arguments, while their weakness is obvious; their attack is just too good. If Aguero stays fit, he will be to City what Suarez was for pool. Their hope relies on Aguero, but that may also be a bad thing since the Argentine is yet to have a Injury free season in England.

Stay tuned for the next part of this article.
